• Colbert Runs

  Colbert ran for president in the South Carolina primaries using Hermain Cain as proxy, as Cain had given up his bid for president, but was still on the ballot. Colbert ended his pseudo campaign after Cain finished with 1 percent of the votes.

• Katie Holmes And Tom Cruise Split

  Holmes filed for a divorce after five years of marriage to actor and prominent scientologist Tom Cruise. The couple reached a settlement in July with Holmes maintaining full custody of their six-year-old daughter Suri.

• Barack And Jimmy Sing

  Last April, President Obama appeared on <em>Late Night With Jimmy Fallon</em>, setting his policy on student issues such as loan rates to R&B music in a segment called "Slow Jamming the News."

• Kimye

  Following the end of her 72-day marriage to Nets player Kris Humprhries, Kim found love again with her long-time friend Kanye West.

• Jessica Biel And Justin Timberlake

  The couple married on Oct. 19 in Italy, a little over a year after Justin's proposal in the mountains of Jackson, Wyoming. They're pictured here looking pretty cozy at a Laker's Game in L.A.

• Blue Ivy Carter

  Beyonce and Jay Z welcomed their first child, daughter Blue Ivy Carter, into the world on Jan. 7.

• Frank Ocean Opens Up

  Singer/songwriter Frank Ocean took to Tumblr to address rumors of his attraction to the same sex, revealing that his first love was a young man, ahead of the release of his crticially acclaimed debut album <em>Channel Orange.</em>

• Kristen Cheats

  Kristen Stewart made headlines after news of her affair with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Her Twilight costar and boyfriend of four years Robert Pattinson promptly moved out of their L.A. home, but the pair reconciled right in time for their <em>Twilight</em> press tour.

• Engaged

  Justin Theroux propsed to Jennifer Aniston on Aug. 10, after one year of dating.

• Madonna Fires Away

  Madonna upset Colorado fans during her MDMA tour stop in Denver by using a fake gun to shoot a masked gunman. Many thought the performance was insensitive in a state that had been shaken by the Aurora shootings in July.
