wo of our children have had to go for physical therapy.?For the most part, the exercises and different things they had to do, was in a large open room where other people of all different ages were also getting physical therapy and even more were working on specific fitness tasks. ?They were pushed to keep going and to meet and exceed their daily goals. ?Different devices were used to measure what they were doing and to also keep track of them medically. ?

One such item was something like a?MedGem?which measures resting metabolic rate and then enables a Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, or Health Club Owners to help their clients lose weight. ? There is also a home version of this called a?BodyGem?and both of these?include software which allows the health and wellness professional and individuals to develop personalized weight management plans and generate individualized education reports for each client or for themselves, to possibly take to a doctor or professional to see their improvements and get further instruction or goals. ?

Another item that health clubs or such as the place our children visited at for physical therapy is a ?Cholestech LDX?which?measures a complete lipid profile plus glucose and also liver enzyme counts, in only 5 minutes from a simple finger stick. ?What an advantage this is so that the patient or client can get this immediate information which means that?action?can be taken and treatment can begin?immediately if there are concerns.
