College World Series 2012 Bracket: Arizona Will Face South Carolina In Championship Finals

Although the UCLA Bruins came up short in their bid to become NCAA champions, the 2012 College World Series rolls on in Omaha. Following a thrilling run, the South Carolina Gamecocks will advance to the Championship Finals to take on the Arizona Wildcats in a best-of-three series to determine a national champion.

The Gamecocks won three straight elimination games to reach the finals. The last of those games came on Friday night, when South Carolina overcame a 2-0 deficit to knock off the Arkansas Razorbacks by a final score of 3-2. South Carolina reaches the finals by going 4-1 in five games in their bracket. The Arizona Wildcats, meanwhile, waltzed into the finals without having lost a single game.

The first game of the finals will take place on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. PT and will be televised on ESPN 2.

A complete tournament bracket is available at the NCAA website.
